21 NOV SAT Studio Session Wheel Throwing

Service Description

Saturday Morning Wheel Throwing Session Join me for a relaxed and creative Saturday morning at my studio in Blouberg, Cape Town. 🌿 These Saturday sessions are designed as a single-session pottery experience, so you can come along, get your hands on the wheel and enjoy a creative morning without committing to a course. If you love it, you’re always welcome to join us for another Saturday session or explore one of our weekly classes. Beginners are very welcome! No previous experience is needed, I’ll guide you through the basics of wheel throwing, from centering and opening your clay to pulling up the walls and shaping your piece. If you have some previous experience, you’re welcome to use the time to refine your technique and explore your own ideas. The wheel session is kept small and personal, with a maximum of 4 people, so everyone gets plenty of guidance and time on the wheel. At the same time, I’ll be running a hand-building session in the studio. If both hand-building and wheel students are booked, I’ll have an assistant in the studio to help make sure everyone gets the guidance and support they need. 🤎 All materials are included: - Clay - Wheel & studio equipment - Tools - Underglazes - Coffee & snacks Your booking also includes the firing and glazing of up to one large piece or two medium-sized pieces, ready to collect once they’ve completed their kiln journey (approximately 4–6 weeks). Additional pieces can be fired and glazed for a small extra fee. NOVEMBER / Saturday AM 📅 Saturday, 21 November 2026 ⏰ 10am – 12:30pm If you have any questions, or would like to pop in and see the studio before booking, feel free to email me at ceramic.essence@gmail.com. 🤎
